DBA, Doctor of Business Administration, Chinese Applicant, Improving the Lives of Chinese Workers

Updated: Jan 5

The Doctor of Business Administration Program at XXXX is my first choice for business school because of its sheer excellence as well as location. I moved to Seattle from China in 2015 and have made the city my home. I keenly look forward to continuing to advance my business acumen and to increase my potential to make my fullest professional contribution in the area of Business Administration - with special attention to the currently troubled area of US-China economic relations; and the role of Seattle in particular. I seek a full immersion experience in both the foundations of Business as well as the burning issues of the day in the areas of commerce, trade, etc. Most particularly, I look forward to extensive research towards eventual publication in the area of transformational servant leadership in organizations.

I hope to make my most significant professional and human contribution by helping to contribute to the improvement of the lives of workers, particularly workers in China. Having now worked in the field of manufacturing in China for more than 20 years, I have a heightened awareness of the intimate relationship between levels of worker satisfaction and dissatisfaction on the one hand, and company productivity and profitability on the other.
