Originally from Ukraine, I am making a permanent home with my family in XXXX, Florida, and I hope to earn an MBA at the XXXX School of Business at XXXX College. While I will be studying online, I enjoy the idea of being close to the institution in which I am enrolled. I love that we are one of the fastest-growing cities in the state, and I enjoy living between Tampa Bay and Orlando, home to some of the largest companies in the country. I appreciate that the XXXX School of Business at XXXX has one of the best MBA programs in Florida, with international accreditation by the AACSB. I could not be more enthused about getting started on the rest of my professional life at the XXXX School.
I was born and raised in Odesa, Ukraine. I immigrated to the USA 9 years ago. Of humble origins, I knew economic struggle up close while growing up, and the difficulty of our circumstances was compounded by the sudden loss of my father when I was 12 years old. However, my mother and I found strength in struggle and determination in the face of failure, and we always remained optimistic and busy building a new life. In addition to my first quarter of a century in Ukraine and the last seven years in the USA, I have also lived in the Netherlands and Jerusalem for significant periods and gotten to know large swaths of Central Europe and Russia. I speak, read, and write four languages proficiently: Russian – native, Ukrainian – native, Polish – native, English – second language, advanced. I am currently working on Spanish. I find New York City especially delightful, and I most enjoyed our car trips across the US and down to the last island in the Florida Keys.
I see earning the MBA Degree at the XXXX School as the best option for me to prepare myself for the most significant contribution that I might be able to make to my society. I am a good student who has always thrived on learning every day. I seek a total immersion experience in the academic business world, knowing all I can, especially about international business. Most of all, I strive to empower women in the workplace and help them achieve greater economic equality with their male counterparts.
I hope to earn the MBA mainly because helping vulnerable people along the road to sustainable economic improvements is what I am convinced would bring me the highest level of life satisfaction. I also love learning for its own sake, especially human behavior, and organization. I could not be more excited about the prospect of earning the MBA at the XXXX School because of my profound admiration for your curriculum, covering exactly what I want to focus on. Most of all, I look forward to spending my professional life giving my all to that niche of corporate America where I am employed and doing all that I can to inspire and guide young people towards successful, fulfilling lives, both inside and outside the business world. As I see it, becoming a leader in the business world and the community goes together.
I want to fill my life with creating new products, programs, and services on novel and creative platforms, serving to make peoples’ lives more accessible and safer. I look forward to spending my professional lifetime working alongside highly motivated and creative colleagues and entirely devoted to personal and professional advancement. Business innovations, e-commerce, marketing, international commerce, computer applications and data analyses, psychology and human behavior, art, fashion, beauty and cosmetology, and a healthy lifestyle all stand at the center of my world; all are integral facets of my professional frames of reference. I live to acquire and refine my knowledge base and cultivate creative thinking in all areas.
For decades to come, I look forward to constantly improving my ability to combine family and career, earning my MBA, achieving financial freedom, perfecting, and practicing the four languages I speak, learning new ones, and becoming an increasingly influential global citizen. I hope to become an extraordinarily successful CEO of a corporation or leader of a social organization. I hope to teach and contribute to philanthropy later in my career.
This is the optimal time to earn the MBA and excel in your program, especially now that I have 15 years of solid professional experience, much of it international. Earning two undergraduate degrees, one in Art and the other in Science, Journalism, and Finance and Accounting provides me with versatility and helps me understand the big picture. Increasingly, I find myself reading widely in the areas of Psychology and human behavior, along with spirituality, all of which are relevant to the efforts I hope to undertake over the long term in commerce and communications. Since nutrition and fitness are my top priorities, I anticipate having at least a half-century to put my MBA to effective use.
My day jobs have been in administration, customer service, and management, and I have periodically been selected as employee of the month or year. When I worked at the American Embassy in Kyiv in 2009, I received an award for excellence from XXXX, the American Ambassador, of which I have long been incredibly proud.
I volunteer in animal shelters and volunteer projects with my Church, which is also close to my heart.
